QBeta can offer advice on the positioning of the dispenser, indicator and push-buttons by completing a site visit or by viewing a floor plan. General guidelines are to: Position the dispenser on or near the bar so that it is easily accessible both to customers already in the bar and to new ones entering the door for the first time that night. Bar staff also need to be able to keep an eye on the dispenser. Ceiling or wall-mount the indicators so that the number displayed is easily visible to bar staff and customers. Consider using a multi-indicator ceiling bracket for the mounting of three indicators for 360° visibility. A 25 metre data cable can also be used to connect to a remote indicator in another area of the bar.Utilise an appropriate number of push-buttons, depending on the size of the bar, the number of tills operating and the number of bar staff employed. If you use the system for a carvery, place the dispenser behind the bar, so the staff can give out tickets when customers order their food.
